Ride, learn, meet new friends, and take in the scenery around the farm at Honey Brook Stables.
You are invited to Balanced Riding Course Live, a two day event with a small group of just 12 riders.
Join me for one on one help with your riding, as well as the “big picture” of horsemanship as we also study groundwork, horse behavior, fitting the right tack, and more.
Online learning is powerful and effective, but there is still something special about meeting face to face, getting hands on adjustments to your position and real time feedback as you ride.
There is even more to learn watching the other riders, and feeling the accomplishment as you all improve together, even in just a few rides!
Our day begins with coffee and a light breakfast followed by discussion and unmounted work, for example a discussion on tack and fitting saddles then practicing on Joker, the riding simulator, or working with the horses at liberty!
After a fresh, healthy lunch we start riding sessions, with each rider working at their own level with the emphasis on effective communication with the horse, building confidence, and having fun!
In the evenings, you can head back to your room to rest or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the farm with a glass of wine and your new friends.
